What technology does he use?

Ric is constantly working with Pro Tools, Logic Audio, Reason, BFD & Ableton Live! And has been for many years. He is very experienced in all of these programs. He also is very experienced with hardware samplers/Sequencers/Hard Disk Recorders etc. (EMU/AKAI). Live, Ric also uses a Roland Octapad and DDrum triggers (Bugs), for triggering loops, single samples and sequences (with or without clicks) and other live production technology.

What musical situations has he been involved in?

Ric has performed with various artists/bands on both live Television (Top Of The Pops/T4 Transmission/MTV-base, Chart Show & many other TV shows.) and live radio sessions (Radio 1-‘Live Lounge’/’Pete Tong session’, /GLR/XFM/).
Touring Ric has played many U.K, European and American tours, including festivals (Roskilde/Glastonbury/Reading/Lowlands etc.), and appearing at many major venues (Shepherds Bush Empire/Paradiso-Amsterdam etc.), supporting various bands (James Brown, Macy Gray/Eurhythmics/Faithless /Nine Inch Nails/Groove Armada etc.)

One of Ric’s main attributes is his ability to comfortably use and perform with technology live and his easygoing/Friendly/Positive nature.

Drum Sample Package

Ric is currently working on a sample cd/Package for Zero-g / Native instruments which will be all original breaks covering R’n’B, Hip - Hop (including old school), Drum 'n' Bass, House, Latin Etc… which is due for release in 2010

Ric has also written soundtrack music and performed for various advertising agencies, for major companies i.e. Setanta, N.H.S, Minute Maid, etc.

Drum Master classes

Ric has performed master classes at many drum shows/Music Schools/Colleges/Universities where he demonstrates his style of drumming along with the technology he uses in a live setting (Samplers, triggers etc) working with some of the worlds greatest drummers (Billy Cobham, Haracio ‘el Negro’Hernandez (Santana/Herbie Hancock) etc…
